These are 1" and they are nickel plated for your chinchillas safety. They work great for hanging toys, but you do need v-clips or unwelded o-rings when you use these. Also in bulk.

V-Clips - 12/$1.25 - 24/$1.95
V-clips [NP] work for connecting a laynard to the chain. You also use these to put on the end of the chain to keep toys for falling off. All you need is a set of needle nose pliers.

These are 1¼" long [NP] and also work great for hanging toys. They do sometimes have to be toyed with alittle to fit into the chain link, but they do fit.
